'Fusion Reactor' Tee

This is the ITER Tokamak, the largest fusion reactor ever designed and the most ambitious energy project ever planned. It's being built as you read this.

ITER stands for "International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor". And "tokamak" stands for "an adorable word worth googling yourself."

We, as in "we humans working together", learned how to generate energy as our Sun does, like kids copying a winning science project. So we're doodling down our version in the landscape of southern France.

It's just one of those things that makes me feel like I'm living through good science fiction.
